Users of the social media platform can now hold live audio conversations using Twitter Spaces.
These conversations can be set up by users in an audio chat room called a “Space” and participants can be invited. For the duration of the conversation, they appear at the top of your timeline.
A Space can be hosted by anyone with 600 or more followers. Brands can use the feature to connect with their audiences on Twitter in a more meaningful way.

After journalists who had recently been suspended from the platform discovered they could still use the feature, it was quickly removed, according to Bloomberg.
A number of suspended journalists joined the Spaces chat that was started by BuzzFeed reporter Katie Notopoulos. These people included Matt Binder and Drew Harwell of Mashable, as well as Jack Sweeney, who founded the Elon Jet Twitter account and also had his personal account banned.
Before the CEO himself entered the meeting, the journalists talked about Musk’s decision to suspend their Twitter accounts.

Within a few hours, The Verge reported that Twitter Spaces had been at least partially removed from the service, with users complaining that they could not access it on iOS or Android.
