Dear beloved in Christ,
As we gather in the presence of our Almighty Father, let us lift up our voices and pray in the Holy Ghost. Let our hearts be filled with the fervent desire to encounter God through His Spirit and His Word. Let us declare, “Father, give me an encounter by Your Spirit and by Your Word.” For it is through these encounters that we receive divine guidance and direction in the seasons of our lives.
Our Scripture today comes from the book of Genesis, chapter 1, verse 14, where it is written, “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.” Here we find a profound truth – that there are lights in the heavens that signify not only days and years but also prophetic seasons. These lights transcend mere illumination; they carry the essence of God’s divine timing and purpose.
Beloved, in God’s divine economy, nothing unfolds on this earth that catches Him by surprise. He orchestrates every season, every moment, and every event. As it is written in Amos 3:7-8, “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” God always provides a witness, a partnership, a vessel through whom He communicates His plans and purposes.
Let us turn our hearts to 1 Thessalonians 5:2-4 and 1 Corinthians 2:9-10, for these verses remind us of the importance of discerning the times and seasons. Beloved, the merging of numerous prophetic seasons defines our lifetimes. Our journey is marked by these divine intersections. The quality of our lives hinges on our spiritual intelligence – the ability to discern and navigate through these seasons.
Remember, dear brethren, those who leave a lasting impact in the Kingdom of God are the ones who can interpret the signs and pointers to prophetic seasons. These seasons bring about changes in patterns, and when they are not discerned appropriately, they can lead to a loss of relevance. Remaining relevant requires a deep discernment of the seasons and a willingness to adapt and reinvent ourselves.
In Isaiah 43:18-19, the Lord instructs us, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” The phrase “remember ye not” serves as a powerful warning, reminding us not to be bound by the past, whether it be negative or positive. Over-dwelling on past successes or failures can hinder our advancement and progress in life.
Beloved, there exists a divine balance – a failure requirement that becomes an anchor, bringing stability in the presence of success. We must guard against overconfidence, for it has toppled even the mightiest of believers. As we journey through life, let us celebrate our successes, yet create boundaries that propel us forward. Just as the apostle Paul declares in Philippians 3:13-14, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Beloved, moving forward requires a forward gaze. The term “behold” serves as a prophetic instruction, urging us to pay rapt attention to the communication and promptings of the Holy Spirit regarding specific seasons and areas of our lives. Like Peter walking on water, when we behold the Lord’s guidance and promises, waves may still crash around us, but our focus remains undeterred.
“Behold” can also indicate a change in approach – an instruction to embrace new perspectives, new paths, and new dimensions. It may lead us into unfamiliar territory, just as God does not always grant our desires but aligns with His Word. We must be equipped with the technology of discernment and the technique of obedience.
Now, let us delve into keys for embracing these prophetic seasons that God unveils before us:
1. Discernment and Flexibility
Beloved, your spirit, mind, and thoughts are essential for experiencing the new. The bankruptcy of discernment hinders flexibility, preventing us from understanding God’s new approaches. To sustain impact, we must discern seasons and embrace the prophetic blueprints for our advancement. As we journey an unusual path, let us remember that loneliness does not signify error. Mark 2:11-12 reminds us of the man with palsy, whose healing was a new approach – a prophetic season of transformation.
2. Strength and Courage
To navigate prophetic seasons, we need the strength and courage to stand alone, to embrace controversy when needed. We cannot agree with everything and simultaneously step into our prophetic destinies. Let us interpret prophetic occurrences through the lens of the Spirit, aligning with our divine purpose. Joshua 1:5-7 reminds us that our courage will determine the extent of our conquest.
3. Obedience
In our walk with God, creativity takes a back seat to alignment and obedience. God is merging graces among His people, forming a spiritual arsenal that will usher His end-time army. Let us not limit ourselves to one grace, but equip ourselves with various spiritual weapons. Prayer, influence, wisdom, the angelic, gifts, and prosperity all play vital roles in God’s end-time agenda.
Beloved, we stand at the threshold of five prophetic seasons being opened to the Body of Christ:
1. The Season of the Harvest
A massive salvation of souls awaits – an awakening placed on humanity by God. Let us be vessels of His light, leading souls into His embrace.
2. The Season of Abundance of Grace
Divine abilities will manifest, ordinary men empowered in extraordinary ways. Let us walk in these manifestations, spreading the love of Christ.
3. The Season of Fulfillment
Ancient prophecies, once dormant, will spring to life. God empowers His words, even through unlikely heralds.
4. The Season of Intense Spiritual Warfare
Higher spiritual intelligence is required as the battle intensifies. Let us equip ourselves with the armor of God and stand strong.
5. The Season of Rewards
Mighty visitations will bless families, regions, and individuals. Let us prepare ourselves to receive these divine rewards.
Beloved, let us enter into a time of fervent prayer:
Prayer Points:
1. Pray: “Lord, grant me the seeing eye, the hearing ear, and the capacity to discern and interpret Your divine work in my life this season. Grant me the flexibility to follow virgin dimensions in the spirit to fulfill my destiny.”
2. Pray: “Lord, grant me the grace for obedience. Help me to do what You would have me do in every moment.”
3. Lift your voice in prayer for yourself and all connected to you: “Declare: The rod of the wicked will not dwell upon the lot of the righteous, in the name of Jesus.”
4. Declare: “The lampstand God has lit with His fire will remain burning to shine light on everyone. Rebuke the spirit of pride, fear, and complacency in the name of Jesus.”
5. Cover your loved ones in prayer: “Pray for sound health and longevity of impact. Declare: I shall not die!”
As we embark on this journey of embracing prophetic seasons, let us remember that our faith is not just a doctrine but a living, breathing relationship with the Almighty God. May we be vessels of His divine purposes, interpreting the signs and seasons of our times, and leaving a lasting impact in His Kingdom. Amen and Amen.
